Checklists

Not every check deserves a full test case. Checklist suites keep the lightweight list-and-columns format your team already uses and add what a spreadsheet cannot: per-cell history, comments, attribution and results that lock when a run is completed.

Checklists

Spreadsheet-style checklist suites with custom columns per run, comments and a full change history for every cell.

Not every check deserves a full test case. Checklist suites keep the lightweight format your team already uses – a list of checks, a column per browser, device, environment or tester – while adding what a spreadsheet cannot: per-cell history, comments, attribution, and results locked once a run is completed.

Checks are grouped, tagged and numbered like test cases, and a column can be scoped to a tag so a run only asks for the cells that are actually in scope. Checklists are an optional module: switch them off per project and they disappear from the interface, the API and every aggregate, without deleting anything.

  • Custom columns per run, bulk status entry, per-cell comments
  • Append-only history for every cell change, with who and when
  • Tag-scoped columns, so a run only asks for cells in scope
  • CSV import and export; completed runs are locked until reopened

Checklist runs

Run a checklist as a record, not a scratchpad: columns per run, locked results, and history for every cell.

A checklist run instantiates the checks with the columns you need for that round of testing, and keeps the result of every cell with its author, timestamp and comment. Titles are snapshotted when a check enters a run, so editing or deleting a check later never rewrites a finished record.

Completing a run locks it – every further edit is refused until someone reopens it explicitly – which is what makes a checklist run something you can point at during a release review.

  • Columns defined per run, reorderable and tag-scoped
  • Bulk entry across up to a thousand cells in one action
  • Completed runs locked until explicitly reopened
  • Checklist runs roll up into milestones and reports
